Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive part-time Residential Property Manager with experience in the industry, to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act and property management practices. This role requires a blend of administrative expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure tenant satisfaction and effective property maintenance.

Flexible hours and part time to start (could lead to full time if a mutual, good fit). Your schedule must also be flexible and you must have your own car.
The right candidate will also have the ability to resolve problems in a quick and diplomatic way.

Covering Vancouver, North Shore, Richmond, Burnaby, New West, Coquitlam

Duties

Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Post rental ads; conduct showings; move in/out inspections Foster positive relationships with tenants through excellent customer service and effective communication. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with local regulations. Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements. Collaborate with vendors and trades for property maintenance and repairs.

Experience

Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Being licensed is ideal and preferred, but not mandatory. Strong sales skills to effectively market properties and attract potential tenants. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Ability to negotiate effectively with tenants and vendors to achieve favorable outcomes.
