Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and conflict resolution, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and that tenant needs are met promptly. This role requires a proactive approach to managing property leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations while adhering to all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities



Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications. Assist with creating and managing operating budgets as well as CapEx budgets Maintain positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and conflict management. Coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues through facilities management practices. Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management. Prepare and manage contracts related to property services and leasing agreements. Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements. Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction. Provide administrative support including phone etiquette, filing, and general office experience as needed.

Skills



Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs and Section 8 regulations. Familiarity with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Excellent negotiation skills for managing contracts and tenant agreements. Proven customer service skills with a focus on relationship building. Experience in real estate administrative tasks including data entry and office management. Proficiency in conflict management to resolve tenant disputes effectively. Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking maintenance requests. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $45,562.07-$91,497.47 per year
