GHD\'s Edmonton office is looking for a Project Cost Controller - New Grad. Responsibilities:

• Develop Project Deliverable list and Engineering Work Packages
• Update project schedules with guidance from partners
• Monitor KPIs, hour and cost progress (CPI/SPI), identifying variances
• Experience in progress measurement and development of the rule of credits
• Prepare weekly, monthly project reports, graphs, and cost/schedule performance reports
• Keep track of finance performance on project including actuals versus planned
• Build and maintain project finance weekly/ monthly reports
• Experience in MS project to develop level 1,2,3 project schedule
• Basic engineering estimate by coordinating with engineers and designers.
• Review scope changes and prepare claims of schedule and cost impact including what if analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or Business
• Experience in an engineering consulting firm and worked on EPCM, EPC and self-perform engineering method.
• Knowledge of scheduling and costing software including MS Office
• Understanding level of financial planning and cost management
• Great understanding of core project control concepts (WBS, CPI, SPI)
• Must be well organized and possess good written and verbal communication and presentation skills
