Overview:

At HP, Sustainability is a top priority that also influences compensation of our most senior leaders. Examples of the Commercial OrganizationaEUR(TM)s executive targets include delivering 80,000 volunteer hours, increasing our Sustainability wins and the % of forecasted sales opportunities where sustainability is a key driver. The successful candidate will lead, manage and execute key global projects supporting CO targets while collaborating cross-functionally, delivering reporting, ensuring key milestones are achieved and course correcting where necessary to ensure targets are met.

We are looking for a disciplined, organized, high energy and enthusiastic member of our CO Sustainable Impact (CO SI) Program (hosted in the North America Market Sales Organization). This is a unique opportunity to join a new team responsible for activating the deep knowledge and experience of HPaEUR(TM)s sustainable impact capabilities into the Commercial Organization with sales teams across 9 global markets around the world. The successful early career / new graduate candidate will be a critical part of the core CO SI team and project manage key initiatives ensuring sustainable impact targets are met. These initiatives could include COaEUR(TM)s volunteering program, Stop the Climate Clock sales challenge, Champions program, HP Dynamics reporting and forecasting, sustainability training, and supporting communication plans. The project manager will work closely with senior program managers on the team to develop skillsets to manage increasingly complex projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross-functional, time-sensitive, high priority global Sustainable Impact projects through excellent project management, creative insights and ability to remove roadblocks
  • Develop relationships within CO and across multiple HP organizations such as SIOC, GBUs, HP Foundation, HR, Category, Marketing, Legal and others to ensure projects are delivered and change is effectively managed.
  • Establish and report on metrics to measure success of projects and institute processes for identifying and addressing performance gaps and identifying course corrections
  • Regularly report status of projects and key metrics to multiple levels of stakeholders ensuring time, resource and cost impacts to schedule are well understood throughout the life of the project
  • Act as a key member of the CO Sustainable Impact program office influencing future projects, programs and requirements
  • Act as a Sustainability subject matter expert with the team
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including leading small, cross-functional, global initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including conflict resolution, negotiation, presentation, and influence
  • Passion and strong business acumen for sustainable impact
  • Strong team-building, relationship management, partnership and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data to help make clear and compelling recommendations
  • Demonstrated skills analysing business problems and removing roadblocks
  • Curiousity to learn
Desired Education & Experience:

Early career work experience in sustainability and other areas such as strategy, planning, project management, operations, and/or marketing. University degree or demonstrable equivalent.
