The Role
------------
We are seeking a
Project Coordinator / Tenant Coordiantor
to support tenant-focused construction and renovation project in Richmond, BC, including active-occupancy and public-sector environments.
This position plays a key role in
coordinating communication, tenant access, documentation, and day-to-day site operations
. You will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, tenants, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects run smoothly while maintaining a positive tenant experience.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Serve as the
primary point of contact
for tenant-related communication, inquiries, and concerns
Coordinate tenant access, suite handovers, move-ins, and construction schedules
Prepare and distribute project notices, updates, and building communications
Maintain accurate records including tenant files, access logs, complaints, and schedules
Support onsite operations by coordinating vendors and contractors
Conduct site and property inspections to identify safety, access, or tenant-related issues
Assist with emergency procedures and act as a point of contact during incidents
Support the Project Manager with scheduling, reporting, and general administration
Read and interpret drawings, scopes of work, schedules, and contract documents
Assist with project documentation including RFIs, COs, and POs
Track and manage project information using
Procore
and
Microsoft Office
What We're Looking For
--------------------------
1-3 years of experience
in construction coordination, tenant coordination, or a related role
Experience working in
occupied buildings
, renovations, or public-sector projects is an asset
Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and site protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a calm, professional approach
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in
Procore and Microsoft Office
(required)
Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and handle sensitive information discreetly
Comfortable with frequent walking/standing and occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs)
Ability to provide a
satisfactory criminal record check
Willingness to obtain government clearance to work with children and vulnerable adults
Compensation & Benefits

$30-$33/hour
