Overview

Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Investment Sales, the Product Manager of Investment Sales will be responsible for the professional oversight and direction of all investment sales-related promotional activities for Centurion Asset Management Inc. and its group of funds.

The Product Manager of Investment Sales will be responsible for working closely with the marketing department to guide and direct the development of enhancements to existing marketing collateral and/or resources.

Responsibilities

Relationship Development

Develop and foster positive relationships with Sales, Marketing, Asset Management, Compliance and Finance to facilitate the collect of information required for the production of investment product collateral. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.

Ongoing Operations

Provide day-to-day, ongoing management in the delivery of products and industry related information, while ensuring that all activities are consistent with Centurion directives and those of other partner and internal areas. Write investment related content that can be incorporated into end sales and marketing resources such as presentation slides, deal sheets and thought pieces. Prepare fund review packages which will include relative performance metrics, competitor comparisons, attribution analysis, manager activity and valuation analysis. Guide the marketing team in the creation of other investment related marketing materials for Centurion funds. Work with internal partners to deliver product information and updates through training programs, which this incumbent will develop, for the sales, marketing and client servicing departments. Update quarterly due diligence questionnaires and assist in the completion of investment dealership, institutional and family office questionnaires as well as requests for proposals. Create, maintain and update Centurion's own data room, as well as the retail and institutional databases; serving as a main point of contact for database representatives. Complete other duties as assigned.

Industry and Product Knowledge

Develop a strong understanding of the portfolios and investment management strategies of all Centurion funds. Maintain a constant in-depth knowledge of the competitive environment for similar products, conducting extensive research when required to obtain a full understanding of the industry and competitive market positioning. Ensure that the leadership team are provided with the most current and favourable view of Centurion's products and their competitive value propositions.

Compliance

Adhere to compliance procedures and regulatory requirements at all times, ensuring that materials are reviewed and approved by the Chief Compliance Officer prior to distribution to external parties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sales product management, preferably within the real estate and/or investment fund industries;
  • Demonstrated track record of assisting with the development and implementation of sales promotional materials;
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to take the initiative required to achieve set goals and objectives;
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee a task from start to finish with little guidance and supervision;
  • Strong attention to detail and able to resolve problems independently while using relevant information, sound reasoning and common sense;
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of institutional grade products considered an asset; and
  • Completion of the Exempt Market Proficiency course and/or the Canadian Securities Course considered an asset.
