Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The Prep Cook will assist in the preparation of menu recipes, ensuring quality is key.

Duties:

- Ordering Food supply orders 3 times a week

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items

- Receiving orders from food suppliers, maintaining food storages , freezers and coolers in good rotation and organize.

- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.

- Monitor food levels and communicate any shortages to the Chef

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in the food industry.

- Relative experience working with Mexican ingredients and spices.

- Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures

- Understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment operation

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality
