We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station, ensuring compliance with food safety guidelines Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in all food preparation activities Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with basic cooking tasks as needed Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations throughout service hours Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments, including meal preparation and food industry practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required Basic understanding of serving protocols and food presentation standards
