As a key member of the People and Culture team, reporting to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will play a key role in facilitating a positive, consistent employee experience within Axonify throughout the entire employee life cycle. As the first point of contact for the P&C team, this role will be critical in providing guidance and support for employees, while also working to provide appropriate solutions where applicable. This could include escalation to our Business Partners or other teams within the P&C team. In addition, you will ensure the completion of all back-end employee administration tasks and management of the HRIS.
The things you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

  • Act as a point of contact for all employees regarding perks and benefits
  • Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding but not limited to People & Culture policies, procedures and processes. When necessary, redirect employees to respective People & Culture Business Partner
  • Partner closely with People & Culture Business Partners to escalate employee concerns or complaints.
  • Play a key role in onboarding new employees through the management of onboarding schedules, coordination and facilitation of new hire talks.
  • Conduct 1- and 3-month check ins with new hires and internal transfers to ensure onboarding success.
  • Process changes in the HRIS and ensure data validation to maintain accurate and up-to-date HR database, and ensure that employee files are updated.
  • Coordinate and update benefit enrollment and change forms.
  • Administer employee variable compensation plans and stock option letters in DocuSign.
  • Submit payroll, benefits, new-hire, resignation and termination paperwork to internal payroll team for timely processing.
  • Identify ongoing opportunities for improvements as relates to processes, procedures, and compliance, and develop recommendations for consideration.
  • Participate in People & Culture projects and ad hoc requests as required.
  • Promote the company core values of Collaborate, Be Bold and Get It Done through every decision and action, while acting as an ambassador of the culture at Axonify.
The things you bring:
  • Professional Experience. 1-2 years of relevant experience and a CHRP designation, or in pursuit.
  • Knowledge. A certificate or degree in human resources, organizational behaviour, psychology, or teaching (with a focus on adult education).
