Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage our company's financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles. This role involves maintaining accurate financial data, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial health of the organization. The Bookkeeper will play a vital part in ensuring timely and precise financial reporting to support business decision-making.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Assist with payroll processing and related reporting functions Maintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentation Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies Calculating payrolls: HST, GST, PST, etc.

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles preferred but not required Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
