Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage all aspects of daily plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are consistently met Supervise, coach, and support a team of over 100 employees including supervisors and frontline employees Monitor production KPIs, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement process improvements Control labor, maintenance, and inventory costs while maintaining operational excellence Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Labour (MOL), Ministry of Environment (MOE), and internal policies Oversee logistics, scheduling, and load management to maintain service levels and plant efficiency Maintain accurate reporting of production, downtime, and inventory data Foster a strong safety culture and positive working environment focused on accountability and teamwork Identify and support staff development needs through training and performance management

What You Bring



5+ years of leadership experience in operations or plant management, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry A safety-focused leadership style that emphasizes compliance, risk mitigation, and building a strong culture of accountability across all areas of operation. Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment Direct experience managing P&L responsibilities and making data-driven financial decisions Knowledge of production systems, material handling, and heavy equipment operation Strong understanding of health & safety regulations (MOL/MOE) Experience analyzing and acting on operational data and KPIs Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills Valid G driver's license and access to reliable transportation
