Facility Operations Manager
We are seeking a motivated leader to join our team as a Facility Operations Manager. In this role, you will oversee all operational aspects of the facility, including receiving, grading, cleaning, drying, storing, and shipping of grain, to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and safe use of labor and equipment.
What you'll doOversee receiving, grading, cleaning, processing, blending, and shipping to optimize facility space and equipment use. Collaborate with Merchandising and Logistics to meet end-user specifications and maximize throughput and profitability. Manage shipping operations to prevent delays and minimize demurrage costs. Monitor facility P&L performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Oversee facility housekeeping and the preventative maintenance program. Champion health and safety initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations. Lead all HR functions including recruitment, development, and performance management. Develop and manage operating budgets and recommend capital investments. Build and maintain relationships with local regulators, industry contacts, and officials.

What you bring to our teamStrong knowledge of grading, cleaning, and handling processes. In-depth understanding of the grain industry, including relevant regulations and best practices. Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and collaborate effectively with staff. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in agri-business or a related customer service function, including at least three (3) years in a management capacity. Post-secondary degree in Agriculture or Business Administration is preferred.
