Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager with strong bookkeeping experience to support our finance and operations team. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys a varied workday, is comfortable managing financial responsibilities, and thrives in a high-trust, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Duties
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
Run payroll and assist with expense management
Maintain accurate financial records and assist in monthly reconciliations and sales tax reports (HST, QST, RST, PST)
Support and improve CRM data accuracy to align with the sales process
Operational Tasks
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments of products
Assist with vendor onboarding, contracts, and procurement tracking
Support logistics and coordination for team and customer events
Work cross-functionally on internal improvement projects as needed
Administrative Tasks
Answer calls and emails related to financial and supplier issues
Maintain office supply inventory and equipment needs
Organize digital and physical filing systems
Contribute to a positive office environment
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or financial administration experience
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Experience with Zoho Books/Zoho CRM or other finance and CRM platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills (financial formulas, data validation, etc)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be eligible for and capable of obtaining Secret Level Security Clearance
