The Opportunity


We are seeking an

Office Administrator/Bookkeeper

to join our administrative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking professional who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems, and taking a big-picture approach to operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Office Manager and firm partners to support all aspects of firm operations -- from HR and bookkeeping, to workflow organization, to helping implement new policies and procedures. This role is well-suited for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position, helping guide the ongoing success and efficiency of a busy law firm.

Key Responsibilities



Support the Office Manager in overseeing day-to-day firm operations. Assist with HR functions, including staff coordination, onboarding, and supporting workplace culture. Bookkeeping and financial administration, including daily postings to client files. Help design, improve, and implement firm policies, procedures, and systems for efficiency. Liaise with IT providers and assist with basic troubleshooting. Communicate with staff, financial institutions, and clients regarding transactions. Contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving workflows, resource allocation, and operational efficiency. Other responsibilities as required in support of firm operations.

Qualifications & Skills



2+ years of managerial or administrative experience in a professional office environment (law firm or similar setting preferred). Post-secondary education in business administration, management, or a related field considered an asset. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically, spot inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Esilaw 360 and/or Unity Accounting an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the firm.
