VMAC has an opening for OEM Service and Sales Support. Reporting to the OEM-HVEV Business Lead, the OEM Service & Sales Support is responsible for inbound communication of sales and service to support the OEM Team. This role includes communicating with new and potential customers, processing sales quotes and orders, as well as technical support. Activities include diagnosing problems, issuing service tickets/RMAs and sending out replacement parts. The overall focus of this role is supporting OEM and HVEV customers and being a communication liaison with the internal team.



Responsibilities:



Prepare accurate quotes for customers, receive PO's, process sales orders accurately in a timely fashion. Communicate with customers to ensure accuracy of orders and quality of service. Help in the achievement of departmental and company objectives. Contact OEM-HVEV customers to obtain new sales orders. Sales support for Pilot Production systems. This includes tracking the bill of materials, changes and updates to the Pilot Production tracking sheet as well ensuring there are service kits for each system sold. Basic technical support will also be required to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions. Sales support for OEM-HVEV customers. This includes collecting information to set up new accounts, providing quotes, collecting PO's, supplying confirmation orders. It also includes setting pricing for new pilot production systems as well as new parts released to Production. It also includes upselling service kits and optional items like aftercoolers and de-icers. Track and report OEM-HVEV warranty for monthly metrics, as well work with Tech support to report and record failures. Provide detailed warranty analysis to support warranty reduction. Forecast potential warranty based on sales data to determine liability. Work with OEM-HVEV Engineering team and Engineering Administration requesting new part numbers and supporting ECN's for new systems being developed and released to production by providing documentation and bill of materials for ECN release. Build and prepare pilot production systems for shipping, including hands on assembly, making packing lists, providing complete PPOEM systems to shipping to pack and ship. Work with teams to enter project data and tracking. Communicating with OEM-HVEV team on current project status to timelines or customer requests are met. Maintain OEM-HVEV Sales Order shipment schedule. Assist with warranty claim evaluations. Review Product Manuals. Create training and troubleshooting documentation. Warranty and Repair center work - organize/tracking repair of failed units. Process & Track Service Tickets / RMA's in a timely fashion. Warranty processing, reporting and crediting. Part failure evaluation/Credit instruction may be required. Work with teams to develop continuous improvement projects for OEM-HVEV department to improve or add new processes. Maintains knowledge of company product lines with a focus on OEM-HVEV products. Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:



Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to engage or build quick rapport with clients. Mechanical / Technical aptitude preferred. Minimum secondary school diploma. Proficient with the use of a PC in business applications including Excel. Proficient working with existing/prospective customers on the phone. Proficient at making cold calls to prospective customers. Knowledge of and experience using a proven sales process.
