Book Customer Service and Sales Representative

The Customer Service and Sales Representative

works as part of a team to deliver the service and communication required to provide the customer with the best experience possible and to stimulate customer growth and retention

. This requires an enthusiastic individual who can attend to customer service issues and provide appropriate solutions, have a strong command of our customer service policies, and be well trained in the knowledge of the books we publish.

Under the direction of the Director, this candidate will partner with other departments and key partners to solve the problems for our customers as well as the Sales team and work to continuously improve the customer experience. Depending on the skill level and willingness to learn, the position may expand to include more complex inventory control analysis and potential growth within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

o Responsible for learning new accounting and sales SMART system

o Under the leadership of the Director, maintain, update and monitor all CS needs.

o Create tools, assessments and evaluation checklists to assess inventory

o Monitor and proactively address any concerns or issues

o Assist Director in establishing new benchmarks and metrics

o Act as a reference point for CS queries on issues related to system and Reps, providing training and troubleshooting potential issues.

o Monitor EDI orders and submissions

o Support month end procedures by checking that all paperwork is entered correctly

o Identify areas to improve efficiencies, reduce repeat calls and provide feedback to help minimize escalations

Experience:

Customer Service: 2 years + (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
