Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the night shift team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately Oversee store operations including inventory management, stocking, merchandising, and pricing adjustments Manage cash handling procedures, cashiering activities, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure seamless transactions Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to foster skill growth and team cohesion Monitor sales performance, implement sales strategies, and support retail management initiatives to meet targets Ensure compliance with safety protocols, store policies, and security procedures during overnight hours Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, resolve issues promptly, and uphold excellent customer service standards Assist in purchasing decisions, inventory control, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budget management as needed

Requirements

Proven supervising or assistant manager experience within retail or grocery store environments Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively during night shifts Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and inventory control Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and store management software Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stock replenishment, and marketing strategies Ability to handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and record keeping Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities Flexibility to work overnight shifts reliably; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
