Duties

Supervise all night shift staff, including scheduling, training, and motivating team members to achieve daily goals Oversee store operations such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Manage cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering activities with accuracy and integrity Conduct employee orientation sessions for new hires and ongoing training to enhance team skills in customer service, sales techniques, and safety protocols Monitor store security through CCTV surveillance, perform regular safety inspections, and coordinate with security personnel as needed Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a positive shopping experience during the night hours Oversee purchasing activities, inventory control, pricing strategies, and store merchandising to optimize sales performance Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and shift reports to ensure operational transparency

Qualifications

Proven supervising or management experience within retail environments or grocery stores Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, budgeting, payroll processing, and inventory management Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales management tools Knowledge of merchandising principles, stock control techniques, and store marketing strategies Ability to perform administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, scheduling, and record keeping accurately Skilled in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing candidates, and conducting training sessions Organizational skills with keen attention to detail in inventory control and store presentation Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced retail environment with excellent time management skills
