The position is required to work with the R&D team on the development of MEMS products, including MEMS testing and MEMS-related electronic design. The main responsibility includes wafer probing, test system design, and new product development. The candidate will work with the production team closely to resolve day-to-day quality and technical issues. The candidate will be involved in new product development process and will support and assist the development of electronic and packaging solutions for the MEMS device. The applicant for the position should have a basic background in circuit design and good analytical skills.Responsibilities

• Wafer probing and failure analysis
• Design and automate MEMS test system
• Measure and improve reliability for MEMS and packaged MEMS device
• Design electronic circuit board for MEMS testing and new product development
• Be part of a quality team to conduct process integration and improvement, and provide manufacturing support
• Technical document writing and report presentation

Qualifications

• GPA over 3.4/4
• A minimum of a Master's degree in relevant fields (electrical engineering, optics engineering, nanofabrication and characterization, physics.)
• 1-3 year hands-on experience in related field listed below:
• Electronic circuit design and testing
• micro-device fabrication and testing
• senser design and testing
• optical assembly and testing

• Entry level programming skills, knowledgeable of programing logic.
• Knowledge in statistic and design of experiment
• Experience with basic electrical testing equipment, such as DMM, power supply, oscilloscope etc.
• Have good research ability by reading technical documents, including operation manual, specification, and design reference etc.
• Able to work independently and meet project timelines.

• Able to learn quickly.
• Carries a curiosity and demonstrates creativity.
• Some hands-on work experience for the electronic design, soldering and testing, optical assembly will be an asset.
