Senior Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a Sr. Software Test Engineer to join a global engineering and manufacturing leader and be part of the autonomous future. In this role, you will work on perception solutions for Mining, Agriculture, and other industries supported by the Hexagon portfolio of companies.

As a Sr. Software Test Engineer at AutonomouStuff, you will work with the latest technology while solving interesting and challenging problems in multiple industries. You will be responsible for designing and automating integration tests for our perception software. You will be responsible for testing both hardware and software functionality to ensure it complies with our system requirements.

Responsibilities

As Senior Software Test Engineer, you will:

  • Work with the engineering team to understand use case requirements
  • Design tests for validation and verification of our software
  • Automate tests for use in a Continuous Integration environment
  • Create detailed test reports
  • Regularly use productivity tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence
  • Report test results to technical leadership
Qualifications

Must-Have:
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years' experience with test design and automation
  • Hands-on experience with embedded hardware setup and testing
  • Proficiency with Linux

  • Industry knowledge in Automotive, Agriculture, Mining, etc.
  • Experience testing systems with camera, radar, lidar, and other perception sensors
  • HIL test experience
  • Experience testing network communication software
  • Sensor calibration experience
  • Deep experience with embedded Linux targets, including flashing, configuring U-Boot, etc.
  • DevOps experience
  • C / C++ programming experience
