Mechatronics Engineer We are searching for an innovative, deadline-driven mechatronics engineer to join our team. The mechatronics engineer\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities include improving existing electro-mechanical systems, developing new product concepts and prototypes, writing and modifying software, designing and testing mechanical and electronic systems. Industrial Pixel VFX specializes in providing 3d image and data capture solutions used, aerial drone systems, navigation tools, remote controlled vehicles, and portable lidar survey systems. We are looking for someone who can design, develop and produce \xe2\x80\x9cout of the box\xe2\x80\x9d creative solutions. The right candidate must have the required skills and experiences, MUST live in the Vancouver lower mainland, ability to legally work in Canada, be a hands-on individual, and have the experience and drive to design and achieve physical results. If you are adaptable, driven to produce and understand the importance of the \xe2\x80\x9cend-user\xe2\x80\x9d, this opportunity may fit your skill sets. Preferences will be for those that have design and manufacturing experience of electronics design, camera imaging systems and software libraries, Radio-Controlled systems (cars/boats/drones), industrial survey equipment and/or robotics. Mechatronics Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing and enhancing electro-mechanical systems.
  • Creating automated systems and the software to control them.
  • Networking systems using different communication protocols.
  • Developing design documents for mechanical parts and final products.
  • Experience designing parts in CAD and utilizing 3d printers
  • Identifying areas of weakness in the production of finished products and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Selecting the required tools and materials for the manufacturing process.
Mechatronics Engineer Requirements:
  • BSc in mechatronics engineering or similar
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, software and creative thinking skills
  • Experience in design, fabricate, repair and service of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Analysis of engineered systems to ensure optimization and durability of components
  • Ability to work in a team or alone
  • Self-starter with a passion for engineering and problem solving.
  • Integration with a small multidisciplined team through strong work ethic and sharing knowledge to ensure a cross-trained team
  • Working with existing mechanical/electrical systems with a view of project completion
  • Keeping detailed and accurate technical documents and maintenance reports
  • Maintaining a clean and efficient work space

Salary is negotiable based on experience. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits:
