Marketing Coordinator (Canada, USA)

Metso is on the journey to Tier 1. A key component of this is deepening, growing, and supporting relationships with our broad customer base. Focused on the minerals processing and mining industry, we are in search of an enthusiastic and dynamic coordinator to support regional marketing and communications initiatives throughout North & Central America. The ideal candidate is an effective tactician, clear communicator, critical thinker and problem solver.

In this role, you will collaborate with many team members near and far, including the Metso global marketing and communications network, as well as local sales and technical support teams. You will work on a variety of marketing initiatives, including executing digital marketing campaigns, supporting preparation for customer events and our presence at industry tradeshows, as well as creating content and adapting for multiple channels and platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing for North & Central America, your main responsibilities would include:

• Help bring concepts to life through the organization of Metso customer events and industry trade shows. Support in organizing all aspects of our participation, such as digital invitations, follow-ups, content creation, vendor communications, lead management, reporting, and more

• Ensure continuous customer communications by creating and execute multi-channel marketing automation programs. Design and build email campaigns, landing pages, digital advertising, social media, etc.

• Generate case studies, media and news stories, customer newsletters/communications, and ensure execution across all channels. Assist in content marketing efforts including target market research, content creation, proofreading, optimization and approval seeking

• Liaise with multiple departments globally, including local sales and technical support teams, business area/product line marketing, group marketing, and corporate communications to support the development and rollout of campaigns

• Measure and communicate the performance of marketing campaigns, retrieving data from different sources and developing ongoing integrated reporting and dashboards

• Aid in the creation of internal and external presentations and marketing collateral, as well as provide project management and administrative support to the team

• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring that global guidelines are properly implemented locally

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3 years\' experience in a B2B role that included marketing and communications related activities, such as digital marketing and event coordination
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience with Salesforce CRM, marketing automation tools, design tools, and website CMS
• Perfect English, spoken and written. French and/or Spanish is a significant asset
• Professional, detail-oriented, organized, and analytical with an ability to multitask between various projects
• Have excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, as you will be interacting on a regular basis with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Regional travel will be required on an ad hoc basis.
