Who you are:

The Manager, People Consultants functions in a generalist capacity and partners with UHN\xe2\x80\x99s client groups to provide holistic Human Resources support and guidance including the areas of: employment relations, performance management, succession planning, talent management, change management, recruitment and retention, onboarding and organizational design.

The Manager, People Consultants also provides consultation and guidance to the leadership team for employment related matters to ensure the consistent application and interpretation of HR policies and programs across the business; ensures alignment with corporate values and human resources philosophy.

What you will do?

As an innovative and collaborative Human Resources professional, you will:

  • Be a resource to the leadership team on the full life cycle of performance management including the development of goals, coaching, performance measures and assessment and salary administration.
  • Support new human resources initiatives, programs and processes; and participate in the development and implementation of the plan and actions to foster employee engagement and retention.
  • Have the ability to deliver results on time, determine the root cause of issues and generate creative solutions in line with organizational needs.
What you need?
  • Minimum of eight to ten years\xe2\x80\x99 Human Resources supervisory experience in a large organization
  • Solid knowledge of organizational behavior principles and Human Resource strategies
  • An undergraduate degree and continued education in human/industrial relations and/or business.
  • Experience in the private sector and rehabilitation services organization is a definite asset.
