About the Opportunity

• Maintain oversight and preparation of monthly corporate financial reporting, including the review of monthly journal entries, reports and supporting schedules.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual supporting working papers prepared by the accounting staff.
• Maintain oversight over internal controls.
• Coordinate with the company\xe2\x80\x99s external auditors and various other service providers as required.
• Pursue continuous improvement for monthly and quarterly closing procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of other continuous disclosure documents (MD&A and Annual Information Form)
• Lead projects within the Finance team related to accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory process automation
• Plan, organize and direct staff resources and activities to ensure work is performed to high standards and within set deadlines.

About You

• CPA designation
• Minimum 3-5 year\'s experience in public accounting/ audit
• Experience with documentation of ASPE compliance (e.g., process narratives, flowcharts, risk assessment, workbooks etc.).
• Experience with complex consolidations for a global multi-jurisdictional, multi-currency organization.
• Experience with accounting for subsidiaries and/or other acquisitions
• Experience working effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Experience building Power BI reports is considered an asset.
• Canadian Corporate Tax Knowledge

Salary Range
$90,000 - $110,000/yearHow to Apply
