The Student Wellness and Equitable Learning (SWEL) department leverages a collaborative, socio-ecological model for student development and care. The cross-functional team includes Student Connection and Community Care (Office of Student Community Standards, Student Support and Intervention Coordinators, and the Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator), Residence Life and Education, Accessible Learning Services, Testing Services, Counselling, Community Wellness Education and Programs, and the Health Centre. The SWEL team offer pan-College services across all Humber College/University of Guelph-Humber campuses.

What you will do:
Reporting to the Director of Student Wellbeing, the Manager of Clinical Services (Health Centre) is an integral part of the SWAC management team and oversees the day-to-day clinical operations of the Student Health Clinic. The manager is responsible for leadership and management of the clinical operation of the service which includes primary care and psychiatric services, and manages the clinic budget of approximately $700,000
The manager is responsible for the human resource management of the clinic staff which includes a complement of full time, part time, and contract nurses as well as Clinical Administrators. This requires familiarity with professional licensing bodies, collective agreements and provincial and federal health legislation. While contract physicians will report to the Director, the Manager is responsible for scheduling contract physicians (currently 6) and ensuring there is appropriate medical coverage for the service.
The Manager of Clinical Services ensures the provision of high-quality client care; is a resource for the campus surrounding health related issues and concerns; acts as a liaison with on and off campus partners; and provides administrative leadership in the coordination of the service including the development of policies, procedures, and medical directives and provides direct nursing care to clients of the centre within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse.

Education
You are a Registered Nurse licensed to practice in ON in good standing with the CNO. You hold a Masters degree in academic discipline that is transferable to the role (Nursing, Leadership, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Health Promotion).
