This position involves managing specific company accounts, working closely with customers, and arranging for their transport requirements. The candidate must have familiarity with the below job criteria:
  • Responsible for providing product, service and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate resolution to issues.
  • Receive requests and orders from customers and ensure their accurate completion.
  • Enter and manage sales orders in the ERP, inputting all the relevant data, and completing the necessary documentation to process the orders.
  • Ensure that all order ship and delivery dates are up to date in the ERP.
  • Follow up on pickup and delivery accuracy with transport partners for orders under your control.
  • Coordinate with customers to communicate any changes regarding orders or delivery dates.
  • Investigate any discrepancy or issues with quantity, pricing, shipments by coordinating with customers or internal resources.
  • Develop new customer relationships when the opportunities arise.
Qualifications:
  • Preferrably 1 year experience in multimodal logistics, with trucking brokerage experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking and managing duties simultaneously
  • Exceptional logistical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to persuade, influences, and negotiate with others
  • Works well in a team environment and collaborates with internal departments
  • Maintains a positive attitude and stays motivated in a fast-paced work setting
  • Fluent in French and English to support business operations outside of Quebec, Canada
