The mandate of Global L&D is to develop and execute a learning strategy that builds the capability needed to achieve KPMG\xe2\x80\x99s business strategies and priority annual business goals. Global L&D\xe2\x80\x99s goal is to deliver high quality, efficient and effective learning and performance support solutions directly aligned to business needs and future talent requirements. The Global L&D is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of the L&D strategies for:

  • Global Audit
  • Global Tax
  • Global Advisory
  • Sales & Markets (Sectors and SGIs)
The audience for the performance and learning solutions provided by Global L&D is very diverse and encompasses all employees of KPMG (approx. 200,000 globally) \xe2\x80\x93 partners, professionals and support staff. Solutions include performance and knowledge management support, formal training (both digital and in-classroom), learning on-the-job opportunities and learning through collaboration with others.

The Global L&D Strategy focuses on optimizing L&D quality/efficiency/scalability, increasing adoption of solutions, partnering with member firm L&D networks and achieving a culture of leader-enabled, learner accountable continuous learning.

Fully aligned with business requirements, Global L&D oversees the identification and prioritization of performance and learning solutions, the design and development of these solutions to best in class standards, deployment to member firms and the associated measurement. In addition, Global L&D is responsible for identifying and implementing innovative approaches to learning including the appropriate technology platforms and tools with support from Global Information Technology Services.

The Administrator, Deployment and Enablement reports to the Head of Deployment and Enablement and is responsible for supporting administration activities for Deployment, including event management logistics for instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual classroom (VC) deployment activities.

The Administrator, Deployment and Enablement will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on multiple activities simultaneously, all with competing priorities and tight timelines.

Role Scope and Dimensions

Key Accountabilities

75 \xe2\x80\x93 80% of Time Accountability:

Supports the Head of Deployment and Enablement in maintaining Global deployment policies and processes.

Supports Deployment and Enablement coordinator and managers with the logistics of course planning and delivery for both ILT and VC.

Provides centralized administration and support relating to the maintaining the folders and course documents on the team collaboration site. This includes but is not exhaustive to:

Setting up folders and templates for each course.

Populating the course admin guide (CAG) for each ILT course.

Creating the annual course calendar in collaboration with the Manager, Deployment & Enablement.

Updating the ILT planning guide.

Creating invitations, infomail and post-course notes for each of the courses for VC and ILT.

Daily monitoring of the Global Tax and VC email accounts and responding to enquiries \xe2\x80\x93 act as central point of contact for participants and responds to basic queries.

Escalates risk and communicates issues in a timely and proactive manner to the team.

Works with content coordinator to update course material in GLMS and the Marketplace.

ILT support

Ensures all Global L&D collateral and related course material is shipped to the course lead in preparation for course delivery.

Engages with internal and external suppliers for name badges / tent card production.

Responsible for the creation and distribution of Accreditation letters to participants and faculty.

Creates sign-in sheets and course contact lists for each course

VC support

Creates session invites, joining instructions and post-course summaries for VC sessions in collaboration with the VC managers.

Supports VC manager on the playback creation process for global sessions.

Supports the archiving process of retiring old and outdated courses.

Supports the reporting needs for VC sessions using the COSO reporting tool.

Maintaining the distribution list for VC community calls and role-based trainings.

5%-10% Relationship Management

Maintains ongoing, productive relationships with:

Members of the Global L&D team

Global functional stakeholders

5%-10% Professional Leadership

Participates in internal forums, projects or working groups focused on continuous improvement of Global L&D processes

The ideal candidate is a seasoned L&D or Operations professional with a focus on business improvement and operations in a global, complex matrix environment.

Ideally, incumbent should have experience in:
  • Providing administrative support and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of online training platforms (i.e. Adobe Connect, Webex or similar)
  • Event management
