As the Executive Director / General Manager / Administrator you will be responsible for the general operations of the site providing leadership, management, and support for all staff. As the ED / GM / Administrator you shine as a passionate advocate for senior’s care (LTC/AL) and are a transformational leader committed to advancing professional excellence while spearheading a culture of compassion and caring. 

As the ED / GM / Administrator you’ll lead responsively and in ways that acknowledge and respect all residents, families, co-workers, and partners as you understand the delicate balance of business acumen and compassionate leadership.

As the Executive Director / General Manager / Administrator you are skilled at establishing appropriate communication, consultation, and feedback with staff, residents, and family members and you uphold a robust culture of safety to support patient-centred care for the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing of our residents.

Here you’ll be an innovative change leader who collaborates with key partners to create and sustain an exceptional resident experience.  

As the Executive Director / General Manager / Administrator you empower the resident care team to provide genuine care that is focused on each residents’ quality of life, and well-being.

The Executive Director / General Manager / Administrator is detail oriented and will work closely with all stakeholders including the Health Authority to oversee exceptional quality care for all residents and will maintain a strong professional presence and operate within the framework of applicable legislation.

Education / Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in nursing (BScN); Gerontology or healthcare administrator certificate preferred; Current CPR certification; Active registration with the BC College Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM); Minimum of three (3) years proven management experience in a health care environment; Minimum of five (5) years health related experience, preferably in seniors’ care, including dementia/geriatrics; Experience managing people within in a unionized environment; Experience managing a budget

Salary & Benefits:  
$110,000.00-$118,000.00 per year + excellent benefits including Pension Plan
