Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record of leading and managing large, complex linear infrastructure projects.
Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, structural engineering, and construction practices.
Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment, and experience leading cross-functional teams.

Mott MacDonald is looking for a professional engineer in the area of linear infrastructure to be a part of our team in Calgary, delivering technical advisory services for a major infrastructure Project. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical functions of your team are delivered to schedule, and budget, and are integrated with the functions of other managers in related disciplines. Your Responsibilities will include:
Updating Technical Performance Requirements
Providing technical support, including review and compliance assessments of the Phase One project design and engineering submittals by Dev Co during the Development Phase and Project Co during the Implementation Phase.
Participating in technical meetings, (including but not limited to design criteria challenge sessions, review comments resolution), risk reviews, change management, claims and disputes resolution, and providing support for reporting.
Providing technical guidance and support to the linear infrastructure team, and mentoring and training team members.
Ensuring that the linear infrastructure follows industry standards, regulations, and the Project Agreement.
Developing and implementing project schedules and budgets and monitoring progress to ensure they are met.
Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure the project stays on track.
Representing the linear infrastructure team in project meetings and communicating project status to stakeholders.
Staying informed about industry advancements and technologies and recommending changes to improve project efficiency and sustainability.
