Position Overview
We need an experienced and dynamic
Lead Kitchen Manager
to oversee all kitchen operations in our high-volume environment. You'll manage a diverse team including Prep Cooks, Catering Cooks, Kitchen Helpers, and Drivers while ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency across all service lines.

What You'll Do
Lead a diverse team
of kitchen staff and drivers in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
Coordinate operations
between takeout, catering, and delivery services serving hundreds/thousands daily
Ensure food quality and safety
standards are maintained at all times
Manage schedules and workflows
to optimize efficiency during peak hours
Train and develop staff
on food prep, safety protocols, and company standards
Control costs
through effective inventory management and waste reduction
Handle administrative duties
including reporting, scheduling, and performance management
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
3-5 years kitchen management experience
in high-volume food service
REQUIRED
Fast-paced restaurant/catering experience
with proven leadership track record
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations
Experience managing diverse teams and coordinating multiple service areas
Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Essential Skills
Leadership and team management capabilities
Strong math skills for recipe scaling, costing, and inventory
Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking under pressure
Physical stamina (long hours on feet, lift up to 50 lbs)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary arts training or equivalent experience
Food Handler Manager Certification
Experience with delivery operations and logistics
Knowledge of Indigenous cuisine or cultural food practices
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
