We are seeking an experienced and passionate person to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, and creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Your expertise in restaurant management and food service will be crucial in maintaining high standards of hospitality and culinary excellence.
Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient workflow
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Help develop and implement new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance
Manage inventory, help order supplies, and focus on controling food costs to maximize profitability
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery at all times.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment along with guiding the staff to maintain the same level.
Always showing professionalism to staff and guests, along with a great attitude and growing a healthy work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a head position or similar leadership role within the food industry
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles
Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team management and development
Familiarity with restaurant management practices, including inventory control and cost management
Ability to create or be involved in innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes while adhering to dietary restrictions
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding dining experiences
