Our design firm is currently seeking a talented and experienced lead designer to join our team. As a Lead Designer, you will have the opportunity to lead and work on a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial, educational projects and public spaces. • Design and develop design plans and specifications based on client requirements and industry standards
• Assist in preparation of drawings for schematic design and design development
• Ability to work autonomously to assist with research and creation complete drawing sets for Permit Applications
• Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and advancements in building design

Requirements:

• A professional degree in Architecture
• Proficient in relevant software such as Rhinoceros, and Revit
• Minimum of 3 years experience working in the field of architecture in British Columbia
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and industry standards
• Knowledge of British Columbia and Canadian building codes, standards and building structures
• Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign are an asset
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
