We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Kitchen Lead. This position is essential in delivering exceptional food service and ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with hands-on experience in serving, food preparation, and kitchen operations.
Type: Full-time (weekends required)
Salary range will be based on the experience
Responsibilities
Lead kitchen during service and oversee staff.
Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes to standard.
Train and supervise kitchen staff.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, safety, and food standards.
Manage inventory and minimize waste
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth meal preparation and timely service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
3+ years of kitchen experience; supervisory/lead role preferred.
Familiarity with Asian cuisine a strong asset.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work under pressure.
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
