Brief Description:
Our employer is a manufacturer of a wide range of armored vehicles. They are looking for an individual to assist with daily accounting tasks, help maintain accurate financial records and support monthly closing processes. This role provides exposure to various aspects of manufacturing accounting, including inventory, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
Job Function:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Help maintain inventory records and assist with physical inventory counts
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with cash flow tracking
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax filings
• Maintain organized financial records and assist with internal reporting
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams on financial data accuracy

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships or manufacturing experience a plus)
• Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Working experience in automotive industry would be an asset.
