JOB DESCRIPTION:

The intern/co-op student will be responsible for the assistance of Edson Packaging line projects and initiatives. While working under the support of a senior designer the co-op student will perform the following functions:

  • Helping create schematics and drawings
  • Preparing BOMs
  • Create/edit engineering documentation required to support construction and installation of packaging lines
  • Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning packaging machinery on the shop floor
  • Support the production process on the shop floor
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A 3rd or a 4th-year student enrolled in the Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering program
  • Completed at least 1 prior work term.
