Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow
Manage food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
Oversee food presentation, ensuring dishes meet quality expectations before serving
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
Lead menu development and innovate new culinary offerings to enhance customer satisfaction
Ensure all team members adhere to food safety protocols and restaurant policies
Provide training and mentorship to junior staff to foster professional growth
Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize operational efficiency
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Excellent team management and leadership capabilities
Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant management practices and kitchen workflows
Expertise in food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation standards
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
