Duties

Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and proper handling of ingredients. Develop innovative menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and manage ordering processes to ensure availability of necessary ingredients. Collaborate with restaurant management to create a positive dining experience through exceptional food quality and presentation. Enforce cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment, adhering to health regulations. Foster a collaborative team atmosphere that encourages creativity and professional growth among staff members.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food service best practices, and kitchen management principles. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff supervision. Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards is essential. A background in hospitality is preferred, along with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
