About the Company
Lux Bio is a Vancouver-based biotech startup engineering a sustainable alternative to traditional chemical lighting. Their flagship product, the Lume, is a compostable, enzyme-powered glow stick used in industrial, marine, and military applications. With $1.5M in pre-seed funding and a national contract with the Canadian Coast Guard, Lux Bio is scaling from R&D into full-scale production and commercialization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for inbound customer inquiries via the website and support channels Manage customer onboarding and provide responses to basic technical or product-related questions Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal team members for resolution Filter and qualify incoming leads before passing them to the Business Development team Own and streamline the inbound communication process to reduce inbox friction and prevent high-quality leads from slipping through Support the sales team by improving response times and contributing to a smoother, more effective customer experience
Job Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in customer support, sales operations, or inbound sales Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable managing multiple inboxes or help desk platforms Highly organized and proactive; doesn't let messages fall through the cracks Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment (preferred) Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar (preferred) Exposure to technical products or onboarding workflows (preferred) Experience in AgTech, BioTech, or regulated industries (preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
