What You Will Do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide support to various departments in the area of recruitment, including writing advertisements, working with and posting on third party sites, collection and review of resumes, pre-screening, telephone interview, forwarding background check forms to the third-party agency, and communicating results to the manager
Coordinate various functions, including resume screening and telephone interviews
Coordinate the coop and student placement hiring processes and assist with the new hire onboarding process
Assisting in the development of various human resource procedures, policies and processes and providing advice to all staff on the application and interpretation of policies and procedures
Preparing offer letters, contracts, and new hire information
Perform tasks in administration related activates
Engage and participate in our team meetings
Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are done on time
Monitor daily activities and provide monthly reports to measure the result of recruitment
Perform other duties as assigned
Training will be provided for this position.
What Skills You Have
Enrollment in a Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other related programs at the junior or intermediate (preferred) level with a co-op option.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in a Human Resources role with a recruitment focus is an asset
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional writing skills and attention to details
Basic decision-making skills related to daily duties
Familiar with the uses of recruitment sites and tools
Be able to work regular business hours of 10 AM to 5 PM on a Full-time/Part-time basis
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 20 hours per week (Minimum); 3 days per week (Minimum)
