Our expectations:
Reporting to the Boucherville Distribution Centre Director and working in collaboration with the entire management team and the distribution centre\'s Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), the Human Resources & Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all operational activities. The incumbent will track projects and human resources processes in addition to ensuring the execution of administrative tasks related to training, payroll, and a variety of activities to support operations for Boucherville distribution centre.
Your role:
Coordinate the update of all key performance indicators and keep track of notice boards
Work with various stakeholders within the Operations team to harmonize documents and reports needed for the distribution centre to function properly
Ensure the distribution of operational and corporate communications
Coordinate quarterly and annual meetings
Perform administrative management duties for managers (e.g., supply orders, expense accounts, purchase orders)
Collaborate with the Associate Care Centre (ACC) on all documentation and the management of all relevant hiring, work stoppage, and termination forms
Support managers in their execution of administrative tasks related to payroll (e.g., validating employee time sheets as well as status and position changes, creating work schedules, producing and keeping track of vacation schedules)
Coordinate new associate onboarding by helping to plan and organize the orientation session
Create the training schedule and calculate costs (per sector)
Coordinate training and the maintenance of appropriate certifications for compliance training (e.g., First Aid, power equipment) and external and internal training (e.g., Health and Safety), which includes updating employee files and the Learning & Talent Centre
Receive and post material sent by the HR department and organize logistics for related activities, if applicable (e.g., National Hiring Day, Associate Opinion Survey)
Support managers and the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment activities for the distribution centre (e.g., posting positions, printing resumes, interviewing for hourly positions, processing background checks, printing interview guides, creating offer letters)
Coordinate various events for the distribution centre (e.g., fundraising campaigns, theme weeks, Holiday celebrations)
Act as a resource for distribution centre employees and managers for all questions regarding operations and human resources
Perform any other related tasks
The qualifications we are looking for:
Post-secondary education in administration, human resources, or a related field
At least two (2) years of experience in coordinating operations and/or human resources
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Quality-focused and detail-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience within a Distribution Center or manufacturing environment (strong asset)
Good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
Autonomy, discipline, rigour, and discretion
