We are currently looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR Team within the Pulp & Paper Division of J.D. Irving. This position would be based at our Head Office in Saint John, NB.
You will provide expertise and hands-on support to employees and managers in a broad range of HR functions including: Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Training and Development, Health and Wellness, and policies, procedures and process. In addition, you will work with our Shared Services team to ensure the effective delivery of services in the area of payroll and employee benefits.
You will work closely with the Human Resources Manager, Talent to execute recruitment for full time salaried and hourly positions within Irving Forest Services and our mills. In addition, you will take on a lead role in Student Recruitment.
In this role, you will also need to have a strong understanding of the HR systems and ensure they are optimized, and that employee data is maintained.
