About Us:
Lloydminster Play and Learn Daycare Society is a licensed, non-profit childcare center dedicated to providing a warm, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. Our team is passionate about early learning and works together to support each child's growth through play-based experiences. We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team for a 1-year maternity leave position starting August 1, 2025.
Position Summary:
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the children in your care. You will work closely with other educators, families, and leadership to deliver high-quality early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based activities and routines Support and guide children through daily learning and care routines Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues Observe and document children's growth, behavior, and development Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Follow all center policies and licensing regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$27.68 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
