We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Cook to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing meal preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of food quality. As the Head Cook, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests while managing kitchen operations efficiently.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage the cooking staff to ensure efficient meal preparation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food handling techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures. Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes based on customer feedback. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to maintain stock. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Skills



Strong experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or food service setting. Proficient knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff and management seamlessly. Attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Passion for cooking with creativity in developing new dishes.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
