Since 2015, Bottle Cap Media has been creating unique experiences for top-tier clients with new technology and disruptive ideas.Scale Projects emerged in 2014 to help small to mid-sized companies reach their full branding, print, and content design potential.The designer role will be a fusion of Bottle Cap and Scale Projects in which you will be creating content for "tier 1" CPG clients, developing and designing brand identities, logos and collateral for mid-sized businesses, and helping to develop the Bottle Cap and Scale Projects brand and content.You will be involved in planning and defining the strategy and execution for multiple client projects including B2B and B2C user experiences for both online, print, and real-world applications.Problem-solving and strategic thinking is a big part of the day-to-day to remove barriers, provide intelligent solutions, and value-added service for our clients.You will be responsible for thinking critically about a range of creative challenges and working to implement the designs.About youYou are excited and passionate about delivering new design styles, user experiences, and work well in a fast-paced environment.You are on trend with modern design disciplines and have a strong understanding of the implementation and application of these creative aesthetics and are capable of adding your personal creative touch.You are an adaptable, multidimensional, problem solver that is capable of analyzing technical challenges and producing the best possible solution.You take ownership of your attitude and deliverables on a daily basis and bring your best.Responsibilities

• Provide support to the design team for internal and client projects (production of social media graphics, brand design, UX/UI design, websites/landing pages, print materials, and more).

• Work closely with senior staff to ensure timelines and expectations are met.

• Help maintain and uphold internal and client brand visual identities and guidelines.

• Pitch unique ideas for design projects.

• Use the best design methods, applications, software and techniques to work on the project.

• Create drafts and models for review.

• Take on specific tasks to support many projects underway.

• Take in constructive criticism and produce quality work.

Requirements

• A post-secondary degree/diploma in Graphic Design (although not necessary with a strong and diverse portfolio).

• CPG or Tier 1 Experience. (Agency side a plus)

• 5 years experience as a designer or freelance designer.

• A good portfolio of past design and creative projects.

• Expert with design software and editing tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma. Bonus point for any of the following: After Effects, Dimension, Sketchup, Cinema 4D.

• Good command over design techniques and visual elements.

• Strong background in Typography and Layout.

• Inspired and incisive copywriting skills (considered an asset).

• Excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Keen eye for visual balance.

• Excellent at communicating and meeting deadlines.

Bonus Points

• Animation and motion graphics.

• High proficiency with 3D Design.

• Low Poly design capabilities.

• Experience with UX/UI and frontend design.
