Job Description



LifeLearn is actively seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team of creators. The Graphic Designers are a part of the award-winning Industry Solutions Team at LifeLearn. The Industry Solution team has a broad range of skills in design, medical illustration, medical writing, video creation, web design, campaign branding and much more. We provide creative solutions to our clients in animal health industries. As a graphic designer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the creative director and other team members to spark new ideas and concepts, develop the look and feel of projects, and carry deliverables to completion. This role requires high attention to detail, a thirst for developing quality work and the exceptional ability to work within a team or independently.
Responsibilities:

  • Effectively brainstorm with members of the Creative team to generate ideas and creative concepts
  • Contribute new ideas and perspectives on how to approach each project with a unique vision
  • Comfortable presenting the creative strategy to internal stakeholders
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Following project briefs, timelines, and deadlines closely
  • Strong technical design skills in both print and digital mediums, including presentation software
  • Build flawless files for all types of deliverables in print, animation and digital media
  • Adhering to previously established brand guidelines to create new communication materials
  • Collaborate effectively with other internal team members to identify design and production-related problems and opportunities for improvement, a well as develop and implement solutions
  • Keep up-to-date on current design and marketing trends

Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Graphic Design
  • 3+ years of design experience with an in-house creative team, agency or freelance
  • Excellent visual interpretation, interface design, graphic design, and illustration skills that are demonstrated through a dynamic portfolio
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude that thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities and timelines
  • Demonstrated time management skills
  • Strong and articulate communication skills
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Have an understanding of best practices in graphic design
  • Proficient in a Mac platform
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (AI, Acrobat, Indesign, After Effects), MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Illustration and motion graphic skills are an asset
  • Experience with Project Management software (Monday.com) an asset
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline and video editing is a strong asset
