We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Graphic Designer to join our largest Regional Marketing Team, located in IBI’s head office in midtown Toronto. Reporting directly to the Manager, Strategic Marketing– Canada East, you will join six (6) other talented Graphic Designers and have exposure to individuals at all levels of the organisational hierarchy. This means working directly with directors, project managers, and a diverse set of disciplines and clients on the coordination and execution of a wide range of marketing and business development materials for both print and digital platforms.   • Applying creative thinking and a diverse set of design skills to a variety of print and digital media, including multi-million dollar proposals, marketing and promotional materials, such as conference booth graphics, brochures, flyers/pamphlets, etc., and eye-catching digital presentations
  • Supporting the creation or editing of digital content for e-communications and videos, in collaboration with a variety of stakeholders
  • Walking, talking, and breathing the IBI brand by exercising creativity while upholding brand guidelines and standards
  • Applying proposal content to designed layouts using corporate templates
  • Developing customized graphic designs for client-based project work, such as reports
  • Providing creative advice and direction, managing workflow processes, owning design execution, and ensuring quality control of creative work
  • Providing design support effectively and efficiently within the Regional Marketing Team
  • Preparing creative material for production and overseeing production from start to finish; coordinating with external third parties for production when applicable
  • Maintaining project files in a highly organized manner
  • Conducting oneself professionally in all interactions with stakeholders


Qualifications
  • First and foremost, a creative eye and a passion for graphic design and branding
  • A desire to be part of an in-house creative team
  • A Post-Secondary Bachelor's Degree or Diploma of Design, Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent
  • A minimum of three to five years relevant experience in graphic design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (CC) and Microsoft Office Suite on a Mac-based platform
  • The ability to creatively and efficiently manage the design and layout of complex multi-page documents; previous work experience with end-to-end proposal development design is an asset
  • Must have some experience with interactive and multimedia design (videography, photography, interactive documents, etc.); samples of your work will be expected
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently without direct supervision
  • A demonstrated passion for branding, understanding how to translate guidelines into design solutions that reinforce and differentiate a brand identity
  • Ability to provide creative input and suggest innovative ways to communicate marketing messages
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding atmosphere in a deadline-driven industry
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and effective in managing the timely delivery of work against short deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and team player, with the desire to be a part of a large creative team
  • Enthusiastic attitude, passion for design excellence, and strong work ethic
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities

Additional Information
We are currently in a work from home model during COVID-19, but when we do return to the office we're located at 55 St. Clair Ave West, this office is steps away from St. Clair station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car. Occupying 7 floors, with over 700 employees, it is the largest office at IBI Group. You will need to be local to the Toronto office and able to work remotely until we return to the office. The floors are open concept and represent our collaborative approach to projects. You’ll have direct access to management while benefiting from our enthusiastic and helpful organisational resources team. As a global architecture, engineering and technology design firm, IBI Group also has offices across the country, continent and world.
