As our Web + Graphic Designer, you will play a lead role in supporting our brand's visual identity and communication to help us build an iconic and recognized Canadian brand. The ideal candidate would consider themselves a creative whiz, visual storyteller, outside-the-box thinker, and a person that is always dialled into the details.The successful candidate will have a strong focus on developing high-quality, creative visual content across an array of digital and print platforms, including digital and print ads, websites, brochures, illustrations, promotional materials, signage, and more. They will be joining a small-yet-mighty team, passionate about inter-team collaboration and brand love.Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design and develop clean and impactful original creative across an array of digital and print platforms to lift our visual brand.

• Own and support the design, user experience and functioning of our websites by designing and implementing wireframes, website layouts, mock-ups and other web-related assets.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to create designs that deliver on briefs and communicate a consistent brand image across a range of mediums.

• Support the implementation of marketing and sales campaigns to engage, nurture, and convert our audience with brand-forward design.

• Own and oversee the Gryd design system, maintaining an organized library of all typography, graphics, photography and illustrations for future use.

This job is for you if you:

• Have 2+ years of experience as a graphic and web designer.

• Have a portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual skills and outstanding craft in graphic + web design.

• You know the tools - Adobe Creative Suite, Wordpress, and Figma. Knowledge of Elementor and Google Suite is a plus.

• Have a basic understanding of SEO principles and front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.

• You thrive in a startup environment where all team members are agile, highly communicative, and ongoing re-prioritization is required.

• Are able to collaborate, take constructive criticism, and seek out feedback - all of which are essential to strong team chemistry.

• Have an aptitude for strategic thinking, organization, and relentless attention to detail.

• Have a passion for the creative process, user-experience, an understanding of marketing, and an appreciation for strong branding.
