Responsibilities

Graphic Designer, full time, immediate hire The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms, including digital and print forms. Reporting to the Art Director, the ideal candidate is able to work collaboratively and ensures client work gets done on time and on budget. Prior agency experience is not required but is an asset. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, and various collateral for print and digital media
• Present concepts and creative solutions to internal team and some involvement in presenting to clients
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
• Perform other job-related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Graphic Design
• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with modern web-design software, such as Figma and Sketch
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint
• Wordpress experience is an asset
• Agency-side experience is an asset
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography, and design skills
• Portfolio of work
• Ability to create a comprehensive and clear brief based on information provided by client and/or internal team
• High attention to detail and ability to execute client’s edits
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively, under pressure, and in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight timelines
• Ability to occasionally present work to clients in a clear and professional manner alongside the team.

Most of our team work from home, but the designer may be required to attend our Toronto office 1x a week and/or the occasional in-person client meeting.
