We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and present sushi dishes according to traditional recipes and modern techniques. Ensure the highest quality of ingredients are used for meal preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing offerings. Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques and food handling practices. Provide exceptional service by ensuring that all dishes are served promptly and meet presentation standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures related to sushi preparation. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in meal presentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. A passion for Japanese cuisine and continuous learning in culinary arts is highly desirable.
