  • Ensure the quality of service and adherence to the establishments standards.
  • Oversee the smooth operation of daily activities, coordinating with other departments.
  • Master all tasks, procedures, and policies related to the Front Desk and Hotel operations.
  • Optimize department performance in line with customer satisfaction and profitability objectives.
  • Understand and meet financial goals, ensuring compliance with allocated budgets.
  • Be prepared to step into various roles within the team as needed.
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Inspire, guide, and motivate the front desk team to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Foster an environment that promotes team engagement and learning.
Communicate department objectives and expectations effectively. * Manage schedules according to operational needs while adhering to the collective bargaining agreement.
  • Identify and encourage opportunities for professional development among team members.
  • Lead the recruitment, evaluation, and training processes.
Guest Experience:
  • Maintain a high level of service, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ensure the reservation and check-in/check-out processes run smoothly for a seamless guest experience.
  • Analyze guest feedback to continuously improve the services offered.
  • Handle complex situations and guest complaints while encouraging the team to take a proactive approach.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 3 years in team management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of a Property Management System (Opera is a plus) and computer tools.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
